Description: It was 1992 when it happened. The destruction of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Nobody knows the full story. Nobody knows what happened within the magnificent school. But everybody knows who did it. Lord Voldemort, the most feared wizard since Grindelwald, sent his Death Eaters to destroy Hogwarts, thus killing the one wizard Voldemort himself feared. Albus Dumbledore. As far as anybody knows, nobody survived. Nobody except Severus Snape, who refused to recount what happened.

Towards the end of 1992, the Amorcya family (the richest, most famous wizarding family in the world) bought an island just off the coast of Western Australia. They named the island after their family. In 1993, the Amorcya family funded the construction of a new wizarding school. They allowed the school to be built on their island, hopefully out of Voldemort’s knowledge. The school was to be kept a secret. It was named Oasis Hill Academy, and the plan was for it to take over Hogwarts as the greatest wizarding school in the world. In 1994, the school opened. They took in their first lot of first years ever, and the year was a success.

In 1995, the Headmaster of Oasis Hill received an urgent warning from the Minister of Magic. Voldemort had caught wind of the school. He had sent several Death Eaters on a mission to find it. With the help of the Minister of Magic, the Headmaster put up every charm, every ward possible to keep the school a secret. The students and professors alike were told to keep the school out of their minds as much as possible. Voldemort could find his way into the mind of anyone at the school, and find the location. The island itself was put under a shielding charm. It was taken off the map, and students could only attend the school via an invitation. Apparition onto the island was cut off. Apparition within the island was allowed. The only means of transport to the island were boats driven by wizards who had been entrusted with the location of the island.

It is now 2012. Oasis Hill Academy has remained safe for 18 years. However, Voldemort is still at large. He is still searching for the school, and will not stop until he finds it. The students and professors at Oasis Hill live in fear as they wait for the inevitable day that Voldemort finds their beloved school.
