EEV'S HINTS AND TIPS TO A BETTER PLOT PAGE:

Choose lyrics that fit your character! There’s nothing more fun that finding songs that mean something to your character, and it can help to add depth to the plot page. It can also make it easier for people posting on your page to figure out how your character thinks. For example, on Medea’s plot page the song used for the ‘love’ section is not a very happy one, signifying Medea’s own feelings on the subject. It's also a good idea to change the 'friendship relationships', 'love relationships', and 'hate relationships' to something a bit more interesting. You don't have to, but it adds to the character of the page.
Use colors! The template I put up is totally devoid of any originality, you must change that! Pick colors to brighten up the page. You can mess around with fading colors or choose a scheme that matches your character. Red is a very important color to Medea, so on her plot page it was the only color present.
Mess around with the font and the size! Any font that can be used in Word (or equivalent word processors, I would assume), can be inserted into a
[ font=_____ ] (without the spaces, of course) code! Some fonts work funny on the boards, but a lot of them look really cool. Also, if the size of the font hurts your eyes, or just doesn't have quite enough bang, change it! Have some fun with it!
Change around the relationships! The list of relationships above is by no means entirely complete. You may find that it is missing relationships you want, or has some that your character has no need for. Don't be afraid to add some of your own or get rid of some of the ones there. Each character is unique, and not all characters have all kinds of relationships.
Look around! You can check out Medea's plot page or any of the other ones on the site. Everyone has their own style of plot pages, so if you're stuck you can get some good ideas from your fellow rp-ers.
